Continue community appearance clean-up initiatives throughout the community (Ellis & Turner)

Pursue all types of grants to help reduce costs (Carter & Epps)

Self Insurance Fund (Tuggle)

Complete Pierce Street Roundabout Project during 2010 (Grogan)

Revisit problem zoning areas and master plans we currently have in place (Turner)

 

No new taxes (Epps)

 

Community watch efforts (Turner)

Continue to pursue grants for automated meter reading (Burnette)

Continue making improvements in efficiency & effectiveness (Burnette)

Increased visibility of meter readers when reading the water meters (Ellis)

Continue the nuisance abatement collection efforts – this has been a positive in the City reports – continue the outstanding work being done (Ellis)

Brainstorming & idea generation type session (Turner)

Continue in a positive direction for the citizens that we are there as a team (Ellis)

Quarterly meetings (work session type meetings) for the Council if needed on a weeknight to discuss special projects and/or situations that may arise (Ellis)

Have police cars that are not being used in regular shift rotation sit in high crime or known drug areas.  If people see a police car they won’t know when it will or won’t be picked up, why it is there and may actual deter crime and/or drug use (Ellis)

Plan and implement the “removal of street level drug dealers” (Burnette)
